I dedicate my work to one simple philosophy, providing exceptional dentistry with a personal touch. Whether you have been a patient of mine for years or it is your very first visit, you can expect highly skilled care driven by a genuine passion for your health and comfort.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a joint Masters and Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery, I began my career in Liverpool before trading the scousers for some sunshine and moving my practice to Brisbane, Australia. It was there that I honed a unique approach, combining rigorous and world-renowned British clinical standards with the famously friendly, laid-back Australian bedside manner.
In 2023, I was honoured to receive the Primary Dental Dentist of the Year award for Queensland, a recognition that reflects my commitment to clinical excellence and the high standard of care I provide to every patient.
I’ve always believed that to be the best, you have to learn from the best, which is why I relocated back to the UK in 2024 to undertake advanced postgraduate training with world-leading experts. Because I believe every patient is an individual, I have purposefully diversified my expertise since relocating and have completed diplomas in Dental Implantology, Restorative Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Advanced Restorative Dentistry. This breadth of training allows us to collaborate on the best possible solution for your specific needs, rather than a 'one-size-fits-all' approach. My commitment to clinical precision was recently recognized at Tipton Training, where I was honoured to receive the Best Dentist Award for outstanding performance in the operative component of my Restorative diploma.
I am currently working towards my MSc in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Plymouth, ensuring that the care I provide, from complex tooth wear to aesthetic rehabilitations, is of the highest quality.
I’ll be honest: I know a dental appointment isn't usually the highlight of anyone’s week. However, my goal is to change that experience through a partnership built on trust and transparency. I view oral health as a vital window to your overall wellbeing, and by providing precise, high-quality care in a relaxed setting, I aim to ensure your visits are something you can approach with absolute confidence.
When I’m not in the clinic, I love spending time with my wife, travelling and experiencing all that life has to offer. Between our adventures, I can usually be found staying active, mainly through playing football, water polo, or running. I completed the Manchester Marathon in 2025, an experience that taught me a lot about resilience (much like being a lifelong Sheffield United supporter).
I am a passionate and highly skilled dentist driven by my desire to provide excellent care to my patients; old and new! I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008 after winning several academic and clinical prizes at Undergraduate level. These include the Thomas H Bickerton Prize in Anatomy and Physiology, the Dental Alumni Association Prize and the 3M Unitek Prize in Orthodontics.
Since qualification, I have worked as a General Dental Practitioner in Liverpool developing a particular interest in Restorative and Implant Dentistry. I am incredibly driven to provide exceptional, lifelong care for all of my patients and I am committed to the continuous nature of learning, studying and acquiring the most up-to-date knowledge in the evolving field of dentistry.
My commitment to further study has led me to undertake extensive Postgraduate Training achieving the prestigious accolade of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
I have gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology from the University of Salford and a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have always maintained a strong interest in Restorative Dentistry and a desire to restore teeth to their natural function wherever possible.
My interest in Implant Dentistry has secured my decision to study for a Masters Degree in Implantology through the University of Salford. I am currently undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Sedation to allow me to help manage even the most nervous of patients.
I am proud to have used my own knowledge and skills to help with the training of newly qualified Dentists as an Educational Supervisor. I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice with Edge Hill University and I was delighted to be awarded the title of Educational Supervisor of the Year 2018/2019 for the North West Region. I have also used my skills to help train undergraduate Dentists as a Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool Dental School.
I take an active role in improving dental services across our local region. I am the Vice-Chairman of the Liverpool Local Dental Committee, and I have also been a representative on the Merseyside and Cheshire Local Dental Network and Managed Clinical Network for Oral Surgery.
My passion for passing on my knowledge of dentistry has led me to be involved in promoting good oral health via both TV and radio outlets. I have featured in National TV adverts for Sensodyne; lectured on behalf of Colgate, and featured on ITV Granada Reports and BBC Radio Merseyside. Some of these features have focused upon my work with local schools.
My ethos within dentistry is one based upon prevention via education and installing good oral health regimes from an early age. These beliefs have led me to visit numerous school and nursery settings in Liverpool where I have been able to share knowledge, answer questions and hopefully inspire some future dentists!
Outside of Dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my three young children.
I am an avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club and like to attend matches whenever I get the chance.
Keeping fit is really important to me and I enjoy going the gym, cycling and running, having completed the Liverpool Marathon in 2012 and London Marathon in 2017. I'm currently training to complete an Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in June!
